Below is a full list of boil water advisories across Southeast Louisiana: New Orleans:A precautionary boil water advisory has been lifted for majority of the East Bank of New Orleans.

NEW ORLEANS (WVUE) - Officials have issued a boil water advisory for the East Bank of New Orleans on Sunday (Jan. 26). Residents should boil tap water for at least one minute before use, including drinking, cooking, or brushing teeth. The advisory will remain in effect until officials confirm that water samples meet safety standards.

Taxed by demands on the city's water system, two 200-foot water towers built by the New Orleans Sewerage and Water Board to pressurize the city's drinking water failed to adequately do so on Sunday, leading to a one-day boil-water advisory for the entire east bank of the city.

The New Orleans Sewerage and Water Board canceled most of its boil advisory. Three areas of New Orleans East remain under the advisory, pending water test results.

Some New Orleans' east bank residents remain under a boil water advisory Monday evening. Most can go back to using their tap water.
