After the suspect refused to put his gun down, a deputy shot him where he died on the scene, according to authorities.

The Travis County Sheriff's Office said a deputy was involved in a shooting in the 14200 block of FM 2769 Tuesday evening.

The Tax Office recommends property owners pay their bills online at TravisCountyTax.org to "avoid late payment penalties and the risk of lost or stolen checks," according to the news release. There is a $1 fee to pay online via e-check and you will receive immediate confirmation of your payment.
