The New York Islanders have won five straight games to close out a season-long stretch of seven straight home games. During the final six games of the stretch, Bo Horvat registered five goals and three assists,

Horvat himself has been on a tear. He enters Thursday's game on a six-game points streak with five goals and three assists. It's the second-longest point streak of his Islanders career. He went 11 straight games with a point from Nov 28, 2023, to Dec. 19, 2023, recording eight goals and nine assists over that span.

The Vancouver Canucks drama isn't going away anytime soon and a recent report regarding Bo Horvat and J.T. Miller is going to add more fuel to the fire.

Flashback to the 2022-23 season, and the Vancouver Canucks had a decision to make. A crowded salary cap outlook meant that keeping both J.T. Miller and Bo Horvat would be difficult. They needed to pick one to move forward with.
