Former Las Vegas Raiders coach Josh McDaniels has agreed to become the New England Patriots offensive coordinator, a person familiar with the situation told The Associated Press. The person spoke to the AP on the condition of anonymity because the contract was being finalized.

Josh McDaniels was out of a job after the Las Vegas Raiders fired him in the middle of the 2023 season and replaced him with Antonio Pierce. But, now he's back coaching as the offensive coordinator of the New England Patriots for the third time in his career.
