The Boston Red Sox were at the front of the race to get superstar Alex Bregman a little while ago this offseason, but it seems more and more like it won’t happen. Fansided’s Chris Landers proposed three trade targets that could work as substitutes to getting Bregman, and would make sure not all fans lose trust in the Sox’ front office.

Alex Bregman, a talented MLB player, remains a free agent with Spring Training approaching. While considering offers from various teams, a deal with the Boston Red Sox is unlikely due to disagreements over contract length.
