STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. — A 34-year-old man from Brooklyn was caught with a gun during a car stop in New Brighton on Saturday, police allege.

The alleged incident occurred on Wednesday, Jan. 22, inside a residence near Richmond Terrace and Sharpe Avenue, police said.
