The history of the park ranger uniform goes back all the way to 1920, when the first official uniform was approved by the National Park Service. The first uniforms were mostly referenced for male use, with women exclusively first mentioned in the 1927 regulations. Wondering what to do this Sunday morning? It’s time to lace up your hiking boots! Join Ranger Peelee for a 4 miles round trip hike to the only sandstone arch at Theodore Roosevelt National Park. Be prepared to hike approximately 2 – 2.5 hours and don’t forget to check the weather. Difficulty: Moderate Date: Sunday, October 20, 2024 Time: 9:00am Trail: Lower Paddock Creek Trail Place: Halliday Well Trailhead. (located at mile 7 on the south unit scenic drive) So, get outside with some of your fri
